University: After navigating the UK’s university clearing system, Spencer enrolls in Accounting and Finance at Bournemouth University.
Graduation: Spencer earns his degree despite academic struggles, entering the accounting field with resilience and ambition.
Early Career Setback: Initially fails his first set of chartered accountancy exams but persists, demonstrating his early commitment to overcoming challenges.
Mid-1990s to Early 2000s: Career Development
First Roles in Accounting: Gains experience in Chancery Lane and with a top-20 accounting firm, honing his skills.
Finance Roles in Investment Banking: Briefly explores investment banking, finding it unfulfilling but crucial for understanding finance’s broader applications.
